Hassan Raza

Hassan completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and also holds degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of London. He has extensive experience teaching a range of subjects related to International Law, Politics, Foreign Policy, and Constitutional Issues, and continues to teach these topics. He also completed postgraduate training in Orlando, FL, U.S., Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Amman, Jordan.

Hassan specializes in corporate law with a strong focus on technology, particularly web3. His experience includes playing a key role in $1.5 billion joint ventures, where he handled structuring, negotiations, due diligence, and document drafting to ensure comprehensive and beneficial agreements. His tech law expertise enables him to navigate the complexities of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, advising clients on regulatory compliance. Notably, he has guided a leading virtual exchange in the Middle East through regulatory requirements and developed policies to enhance legal compliance.

Additionally, Hassan has extensive experience in healthcare law, including working with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP). He has also advised the Chinese Embassy on various issues. His role at Esquare Legal underscores his position as a trusted advisor and expert in corporate and tech law, contributing significantly to major ventures and the evolving legal landscape of emerging technologies.

Hassan has also served as the President of Pakistan Hemophilia Patients Welfare Society (PHPWS), liaising with national and international organizations. He secured clotting factor concentrates/products worth $1.5 million via the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH). Currently, he works as an advisor to the Hemophilia Foundation, focusing on data collection, patient registries, and international donations.

He frequently writes on contemporary political issues as well as legal ones in different newspapers too.

Previously, Hassan worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan, the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad (ISSI), and the Strategic Vision Institute, Islamabad (SVI).
